Transcript Wright represents UH as homecoming queen Since the majority of students commute to and from campus, Homecoming activities seem to be a bit apathetic. However, tradition to celebrate the event still prevails to honor alumni students of UH. Each year during Homecoming week the Moody Mashers, a girls football team from Moody Towers, and the Quad Squad, the girls football team from the Quad, meet for the Powder Puff game. This year Moody Mashers were the winners. Each year the greeks sponsor a tug of war contest to promote spirit. And the cheerleaders sponsor a bonfire and election of Homecoming Queen. Yvonne Wright was elected queen this year. These traditional activities seem to mean much to those in participation . . . and those that don't participate . . . they lose nothing either.
