First I would like to thank everyone who took a leap
with me to create what I consider the best "anuario"
in years. From design to dedication, each member of
our staff has contributed. Though we suffered setbacks, we prevailed as a staff and as friends. I consider
my experience on yearbook to be rewarding in two
senses: 1) I have established lasting friendships among
you, and 2) We created a quality book on time! Each
of you has made an impact on my life and I know that
I will never forget this year's heights and hijinks.
D/ana-Even though we have taken some of the worst
classes together, I've still had so much fun with you.
I'm so glad that those projects are behind us! Your
love life this semester has been hilarious and bizarre.
I'm just happy it's someone else for a change, haha.
Dondria-Look out HBIC! Oh D-squared, good luck
next year. I know you're going to be amazing and
your book will be nothing less. Just call me whenever
you wanna go to Ruchi's. You know I'm down for
Frenchy's too. fteem-Hey crazy, even though you
dragged me into sketchy clubs at 2am in the name of
photojournalism, you've been an asset to the team. By the way, I'll never forget your anecdotes from my birthday
party...haha. Chance-One word...Chingy. Our Sugarland adventure taught me that your sense of direction is worse
than mine, but luckily you were blessed with writing talent that overshadows this inability. Reliable and diligent,
you created a section that ranks high in this year's book. And remember, white people eat chicken too.
Rita-Your work ethic is motivating and I hope you continue to do great work in your future years on staff. Keep
pushing through the Honors College, and best of luck with that senior thesis. Jade-You are completely hilarious.
I love talking to you; it seems you live a joyous life. It is always written all over your face. Keep smiling!
Amanda-Yearbook's busy bee! I don't know how you accomplished so much during your last semester, but you did
and that is a true testament to your character! You're sweet and always helpful, something I definitely appreciated
during such a hectic year. /.//a-Another one with such a sweet personality! Keep on "clicking away" as Reem would
say and best of luck to you in the future! Opa-You know what they say about guys with big lenses ...they take better
pictures. Haha...you have helped us out tremendously. I appreciate all the effort! Kelly-You taught me so much about
production and I would have been lost without you! Your help truly saved us when files went "missing" and chaos
erupted. Thank you! And finally to our beloved adviser, Dick Cigler-You have been more than an adviser to me.
You are both a father figure and a dear friend. I have enjoyed my time on yearbook and I owe much of our success this
year to you. A big thank you to anyone else who contributed to this book and to my experience. :o)
Ok guys this is it. We are done, and without everyone working as a team it could not have been
possible. This year has been a memorable one for
me, thanks to you. Thank you yearbook team for
everything you guys have contributed to this
book... Thank you for your hard work, and crazy
times. It is true what they say, to be a Yearbook
member you have to be a little off, but we understand each other and that's the beauty.
Chance: You and your music... always.
Reem: Where do I start? Ok, so we had class together and we were in Yearbook together, but only
saw glimpses of you. You and your crazy ways, our
'"talks" about men, and your appreciation for "good"
people, I will always remember.
Dondria: A.K.A "D": ... We still have next year to
think about, you ar^ always making me smile, thanks I needed it most of the time.
Rita: Always dedicated, keep it up.
Jade: You always took whatever assignment we gave you. Thank you.
Stephanie: We work well together... We had our ups and our downs, but we made it...on
time too. Our classes were the worst we could sign up for, but If I didn't have you there to
talk about both of our teachers... I would have gone crazy. Yes this semester was my turn
for the boy drama. I guess it comes with the position.
Opa: Miss Hello Kitty and I ar^ going to miss your accents... Thank you for hanging out
with me after class and making me laugh. Keep hair modeling and remember, "Kitty is not
evil" no matter what you say.
Lila: I still remember when we use to call you "lilama"... I'm going to miss you.
Cigler: Thank you for having faith in us. You were always very supportive of us, and you
actually listened to everything we had to say.
Kelly: Sorry for always bugging you for technical support... without your help we would
still be struggling.
