Transcript STUDENT ASSEMBLY The Student Assembly was founded in March of 1940 by the Student Council, with the approval of the administrative officials of the University, to give better representation to all students. The Assembly makes the legislative branch of the student government bi-cameral, ana serves as an adjunct to the Student Council. It is presided over by the Vice- President of the Student Association, and its membership is comprised of two representatives from each class and recognized club on the campus. By virtue of statutes enacted at the time of the establishment ol the Student Assembly, henceforth all resolutions and new legislation will originate in that body, then be passed on for consideration by the Student Council.
