Transcript NATIONAL COLLEGIATE DRAMATIC SOCIETY mar^mm OFFICERS OF THE COLLEGIATE DRAMATIC SOCIETY ALGERINE ALLEN Grand Director MAMS ANDERSON Worthy Stage Manager HOGA WALTER Worthy Business Manager 1 HE Collegiate Dramatic Society, an outgrowth of the Red Masque Players, is composed of members who are experienced in all phases of drama. This organization has pledged itself to the expansion and continuance of drama in the University. Drama that will not only be entertaining but also helpful to its members. Ranked high among dramatic organizations the club has attained this distinction not so much through the number of members as through the type of members. Students of this organization are well versed in their particular phase of drama, whether it be on or behind the stage. Each is an expert in his or her field. But shown in particular is their love for the stage and the willingness to do their parts. The group presented "Apron Strings" as its yearly play. The story concerns a young man who has been tied to mother's apron strings all his life. Even after her death her influence is so great that he does what she would have wanted him to do, even when he marries. The bride soon leaves him. This startles him and he decides to live his own life. Love triumphs in the end. Algerine Allen Mavis Anderson Al Aron Douglas E.
