Transcript JOHN R. BENDER DRAMATIC CLUB The John R. Bender Dramatic Club, under the direction of Prof. L. S. Mitchell, has been instrumental in giving the University some very fine entertainment in tin- way of plays. The members are: Bill Stanford, President; Marjorie Willke, Vice-President; June Learned, Secretary; Algerine Allen, Mildred Blair, Larry Bynutii, Ed Clicrnosky, Dot De Bajligethy, Louis Ehlers, Ruth Elrod, Josephine Fastenrath, Dot Golden, June Hardy, Reo King, Ellen Newman, Evelyn Nicoll, P. S. Reed, Nell SchedJer, Sally Powers, Wilbur Smith, Miriam Smith, Vernon Scott, Mary Treadway, Nelda Eaves, Charles Shepherd, Ray Morris, Harry Gray, Rade Robertson, Jack Robinson, Bud Steeger, Carl Lieb, Bruce Kirtley, Oswald Ewing, J. G. Martel. Helen Mae Potthoff, Jane Jennings, Mary Langly, George Boynton, Laura Boynton. Bed Coulson, Stillman Taylor, Walter Piene, and Julius Boillin. STUDENT ASSOCIATION The Student Association, which has functioned this year as always, has been very helpful in assisting the various organizations with their affairs. This body is composed of the entire student enrollment. The officers of this association are: James Coulson, President; Harry Gray, Vice- President; Marjorie Willke, Secretary; Donald Aitken, Treasurer. H.J.C. SPEAKERS' CLUB The Speakers' Club, which is sponsored by Mr. Harris, was organized at the beginning of the first semester and has held regular meetings throughout the school year. Club meetings have been devoted to discussions of every day problems for the purpose of speech improvement. In addition to that training, the club also sponsored a number of social events during the 1933-'34 term. For the first semester the officers of this club were: Reo King, President; Bob Swor, Vice-President; Herman Lashok, Secretary-Treasurer. The second semester officers were: Lynn Davis, President; Roy Quitter, Vice-President; Mildred Blair, Secretary-Treasurer; Bob Swor, Parliamentarian. Due to unavoidable circumstances, the above pictures were omitted from their proper places. Reading from left to right: W.
