Transcript Student Government Council of Dormitory Presidents The Council of Presidents consists of the six presi-' dents of all the dormitories on and off campus. The Council's main purpose is to be a discussion board for the problems that may arise among the different dormitory councils. When the need arises, the council can serve as an overall legislative board for all dormitory residents. Under the advisership of the Director of Housing, the council gives each dormitory council a voice in the governing of the dormitories. FRONT ROW: Bonnie Bailey, Luis Zaffirini, Richard Hancock, Glen Mitchell. BACK ROW: Penny Smith, Bruce Gurd, Cheryle Pampe. University Center Policy Board As the policy-recommending agency for the operation of the new University Center, this board is composed of students, faculty, administrators, and alumni representatives. Among policies determined this year were the names of the rooms in the UC, operational policies in the center, and the creation of the Program Council. This council is composed of seven committees and an executive council. The program council will plan and execute the majority of the programming in the center. FRONT ROW: Kenneth Bentsen, Bill Soffar, Blanche Gore, Dean George Taulbee, Bill Walker, Tim Wood and Terry Atkinson. BACK ROW: Dean Jim Whitehead, Richard Gaghagen, Mary Ann Johnson, Al Kapp, Glenn Zinsmeyer, Carolyn Willard, John Mattern, Betsy Gandy, Bill Scott, Norman Moore and Joan Delandy. 203
