Transcript Collegiate Dramatic Society OFFICERS Worffiy Direcior GENE ROBINSON Worthy Business Manager BETTY JANE BELL Worfny Sfage Manager ELAINE S1SSON Worthy Promptress DOROTHY CHILDRESS The Collegiate Dramatic Society began its year's activities with an open house honoring the Red Masque Players; the Society then supervised three productions, Dangerous Corners, Aaron Slick of Punkin' Crick, and Cry Havoc. With the help of the Red Masque Players, the Collegiate Dramatic Society took The Women on tour to various army camps, including McCIosky General Hospital, Camp Hood. Ellington Field, Camp Hitchcock and Camp Wallace. In the drama tournament, sponsored co-jointly by the Red Masque Players and Collegiate Dramatic Society, four senior colleges and three junior colleges entered with about one hundred delegates. The tournament opened April 14 with the presentation banquet being held April 15 at which five cups and seven awards were given. The tournament closed with the performance ot 1 he Women by the Red Masque Flayers.
