Transcript LES MOUSQUETAIRES OFFICERS President NORMA LYNN WOOD Vice-President EILEEN PHALEN Secretary BETTY LEE HE1NRICH Treasurer DIXIE JUNE BRECUNIER Publicity Chairman SUZANNE LARIMER Student Assembly Representatives jMARY LEEPYLE ^^ Faculty Sponsors j\V|LUAM SHAMBLIN 1 fie French Club of the University of Houston, Les Mousquetaires, was founded in 1934 under the name Comme-Ci, Comme-Ca for the purpose of conversing in French at informal gatherings and entertainments. Club members were active in Frencfi Little Theatre productions. In 1958 the club adopted the present name. With money earned from its activities the club has contributed to I be Building Fund, and has purchased over a hundred books for the university library. I his year was begun with a banquet for new members. During the Christmas holidays a party was given. During the Frontier Fiesta, the club constructed a booth as a replica of a typical French side-walk cafe.
