Transcript PRELAW SOCIETY OFFICERS First Semester President HALBERT BERRY Vice-President GENE CUNY Second Vice-President DICK SCHILL Secretary NORMAN ATKINSON Treasurer JACK VALENTI Second Semester President GENE CUNY Vice-President RAY CAMPBELL Second Vice-President NORMAN ATKINSON Secretary ED DAVIS Treasurer FELIX STANDLEY Faculty Sponsor, LEON HALDEN The Pre-Law Society, formed in the second semester of 1940 as an organization for those students who plan to study for the legal profession, progressed further during 1941 under the guidance of Mr. Leon G. Halden, the faculty sponsor of the club. Judge Norman Atkinson addressed the group in November. The first formal initiation was held in February at the home of Halbert Berry. An informal dance in the Cullen Auditorium was held shortly after the installation of the new officers. The contribution of the society to the Frontier Fiesta was the Judge Roy Bean Court.
