Description DECORATION: Calendar pages present the abbreviation KL in gold leaf, inscribed in brown and blue ground. The dominical letter A alternates in gold and blue. Ornate pages: ff.17r, 27r, 39r, 44v, 48v, 52v, 57r, 64r, 69r, 105r, 115v, 130v, 174v. The decorations also include secondary gold initials, 4 / 2-line, on brownish and blue ground. Tertiary initials (litterae florissae), alternating gold and blue. Rubrications. Guide titles on the Calendar pages and on some sections throughout the text, in cursive script.

Description OFFICE OF THE VIRGIN. DECORATION: Office of the Virgin. Opening initial, historiated D, blue, 8-line. The Virgin, seated, holds Baby Jesus on her lap. The Holy Baby is naked, with blond curly hair. Mary is crowned; she wears a red tunic covered by a blue cloak. Checkered ground. An ivy-leaf double border surrounds the text. On the upper margin: two interlacing dragons with wings. On the lower margin: one dragon, hanging upside down, with its tail interlacing the bar border. A smaller dragon covers the right bottom corner with its vaulted tail. The dragons’ tails gradually develop into the ivy-leaf border. On the lower left corner is a stork grooming its feathers. Primary initial D, red, 4-line, on gold ground. Ivy-leaf ramifications inside.
