Description This film includes a documentary on the life and achievements of the boxer Jack Johnson. The reporter interviews history professor Randy Roberts and a couiple of Galveston area people, since the boxer was once a dockworker in Galveston. The film also includes a short segment in a grocery store, where the reporters interviews an elderly gentleman. The film also includes a segment discussing the African-American family and how African-American communities are addressing their concerns. This segment includes an interview of Earnest McMillan, who is working in Houston's Fifth ward in an enrichment program for at-risk youth. This film runs best using Apple's QuickTime video software.
