Description Article about signing of bill giving women right to vote in primaries. Governor William Hobby signed the bill in his private office and was witnessed by Mrs. Minnie Fisher Cunningham, Mrs. D.H. Doom, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Speer, and Mrs. A. N. McCallum, all prominent suffragists. Governor Hobby gave the pen used to to sign the bill to Mrs. Cunningham.
