Description This black and white photograph from approximately 1905 published by Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd depicts part of the Cauvery River known as “The Goat’s Leap.” At the time that the photograph was taken, the Mysore Government was implementing an irrigation and electrical project estimated to cost 150 lakhs of Rupees to make use of the Cauvery River’s enormous power.
