The primary purpose of a ship's paper is to help cement the ship's company together as a band of brothers and thus to increase the happiness and contentment of all hands-- this to the benefit of each individual and to the ship as a hole seoondary purpose of a ship's paper is to put into the hands of everyone of s something we may send home to our loved ones and thus enable them to get a closer insight into our life on board-- to keep them in touch with our wor and our play. Those of us ho have been in the av a fe years kno ow much t e folks at home ap reciate this closer in ight. In order to make a success of a ship's paper it ust have the hearty sort of all ends.
