Transcript — Vet's Hospital, Faith Home Receive — Frontier Fiesta Money Children from Faith Home look wide eyed as Mary Hugh Arnold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Arnold and grandaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Roy Cullen, presents them with hundreds of dollars of Fiesta money, enabling the children from the home to attend Fiesta on opening night. The money is a part of the $1,000,000 Fiesta money ($10,000 real American dollars) which Mr. Cullen bought to help kick off the ticket sales. The remainder of the tickets will be given to the Veterans Hospital and to Ellington Field. There are probably no greater supporters of the Fiesta than Mr. and Mrs. Cullen. This year as a token of gratitude for their help, the students have made them life members of the Frontier Fiesta Association. Mr. and Mrs. Cullen, with the board of Regents, will be on hand during Fiesta week to see all of the shows and visit the concessions. FRONT COVER: Fiesta City receives its official charter from Governor Allan Shivers at ceremonies recently held at Austin. Accepting the Charter for Fiesta City is its Mayor, the honorable John Wilson Goyen III. Mayor Goyen was elected on the platform of "I'm too young to be crooked."
