Transcript A SHOW OF SPECIAL INTEREST TO FIESTA GOERS IS THE... The SILVER MOON SALOON is Frontier Fiesta's top award winning show. It has won first place more times than all the other ten shows put together (a total of six out of the past eleven Fiestas). This year Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and Chi Omega Sorority are presenting a spectacular musical production evolving from the glorious history of our country's Western expansion. It takes place at the meeting point of the first transcontinental railroad at Promentary Point, Utah. You will see the true reenactment of the driving of the golden spike. There's fancy fun and frolic when the East meets the West on the stage of the Silver Moon Saloon. Those of you who are old Fiesta-goers are familiar with the record that has made the Silver Moon Saloon one of the outstanding shows on the midway. For those of you who are newcomers, we offer our ability to continually place acts in the Top Ten Acts (we have had over thirty Top Ten Acts in our eleven years of Fiesta), to have the always popular production numbers directed by Patsy Swayze, to win six out of the past eleven Joe Koppel Awards for First Place shows. We also offer you the luxuries and comforts of our permanent building. It was the first permanent building to be erected on the Fiesta lot and was awarded to our show on the basis of our outstanding record. We are mighty proud of our history and our beautiful building and we're certainly doing our best to continue adding to it. We sincerely hope you'll enjoy our show again this year. Officers for this year's show go over work schedule. L. to R. are David Baer, SAE General Chairman, Larry Barett, SAE Production Chairman, and Billie Coleman, Chi Omega General Chairman. Townspeople & Workmen . . . 2AF's and Xft's 35 Old Henry the Moon is getting lots of pretty attention as the official trademark of the Silver Moon Saloon. ACT I Act one takes place at the dedication of the transcontinental railroad in Promentary Point, Utah, in 1869. People have come from all over the county to witness the event. ACT II Act two opens at the Silver Moon Saloon (the best place in town) one hour after the ceremonies at the tracks. The workmen are out on a "bachelor's spree." ACT III Act three curtain opens on the exotic interior of a Chinese temple. The time is anytime. ACT IV Act four finds us back at Promentary Point on the prairie outside of the town. It is late evening now and the celebration has just broken up.
