Transcript HONORARY MAYOR SANDRA BUGAJ Lovely little Sandra Bugaj, five years old, is the honorary mayor of Fiesta City for 1959. Sandra was brought to Hedge- croft Clinic in her mother's arms at the age of six months. She is a victim of polio. The little brown-eyed mayoress is among the group of children from Hedge- croft Clinic, Jeff Davis Hospital, Faith Home and other crippled childrens organizations which are annually feted with a western Bar-B-Que and entertainment by Frontier Fiesta. Mayor Sandra was elected by the children of Hedgecroft Clinic to be their representative to Fiesta City, and was presented with a western outfit and Honorary Mayor's badge. Sandra is an "Out Patient" now but she still wears her brace and returns monthly to the Clinic for a check-up. Hope burns in these children's eyes and is an inspiration to all. Miss Margaret Marrs, Public Relations Department of Hedgecroft Clinic, says, "You always feel sorry for the man with no shoes until you see the man with no feet." TEXAIR Advertising Co.
