Transcript FIESTA CITY POPULATION 1001 NO YANKEES ALLOWED AFTER SUNDOWN STORY OF FRONTIER FIESTA The Beard of Directors of the FRONTIER FIESTA ASSOCIATION and the students of the University of Houston, welcome you to Frontier Fiesta, "THE GREATEST COLLEGE SHOW ON EARTH." Houston is proud of this outstanding event! We take unparalleled pride in Fiesta City which has more than 100,000 residents during the week of April 20th to the 25th. FRONTIER FIESTA got its start in 1940. That year FRONTIER FIESTA consisted of three shows, but 1500 people attended and the first Fiesta was a success. FRONTIER FIESTA has since grown to its present size of a six-night run, with an average attendance of approximately 100,000 people.
