Transcript Another Wet Fiesta? "Into each life some rain must fall." How true this holds to Frontier Fiesta. Since its inception in 1940 Fiesta has been plagued by the proverbial April showers. The 1941 deluge caused a two week postponement, but, although only in its second year, the dreams of Fiesta leaders could not be drowned. It was held majestically the third week. World War II's call to arms led every available University man to fight for his country, Fiesta was abandoned for five long years. The Svetplague' again struck Fiesta at its resurrection in 1947. From that year hence it has showered at least one to three nights during this extravaganza. At the writing of this article it is too early to predict what the weather will be, but we're taking all bets that the plague will again strike.
