Transcript Honorary Mayor Bobby Phillips, 10 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Phillips, has been chosen as the 1954 Fiesta City Honorary Mayor. Bobby is a victim of cerebral palsy. He was chosen from over 100 crippled children contestants at the Frontier Fiesta Crippled Children's Barbecue, March 26. C. V. Buster Kern, Sheriff of Harris County, presented Bobby with his western outfit and a Fiesta City mayor's badge. Johnny Goyen III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Goyen Jr., and last year's Honorary Mayor presented Bobby with his official "shoothr arns" and Stetson. Bobby has a winning smile that captures the heart of whoever he contacts. However this smile masks his nerves of steel and his firm belief in law and order. So you hombres just better go straight while Fiesta City is being run by Mayor Bobby Phillips. John Goyen III, C. V. Buster Kern, Bobby Phillips.
