Transcript JC ^ 4S4C Beard Crowing Contest Rules BEST ALL-AROUND BEARD—Clipping, shaving or cutting the beard will result in disqualification. Haircuts are per-i missible down to the middle of the ear. Judging will be based on the beard that is the most natural, beautiful andj attractive, best all-around beard. Natural wild and woolly growth is the prime requisite. LONGEST BEARD—Any style or design is permitted. The beard will be judged by measuring the longest hair pulled from any part of the face and on general all-around length. SCRAWNIEST BEARD—Absolutely no shaving, clipping, or trimming is permitted. Natural growth and scrawninessj are desired. FUNNIEST BEARD—Anything goes in this division of the contest. UGLIEST BEARD—Anything goes; repulsiveness being the prime requisite. REDDEST BEARD—Anything goes except dying the beard. Natural color is the prime requisite. Rules for the contest state that only duly registered and authorized students of the University are eligible, and the! winners of each division will be thoroughly checked as to eligibility upon winning his division. If he fails to qualify, the first prize of his division will go to the second place winner of the same division and so on. Contestants must have declared the division they expect to compete in by Tuesday, April 15. After that date no| transfers to other divisions of the contest were permitted, and no declarations could be changed. Final judging will be held April 26, the last night of the Fiesta. Semifinal and elimination judging will be held that morning. The judges will be off-campus and impartial. Five of the six hundred participants in the beard growing contest lean agin a horse- hitchin' rail in front of one of the buildings of Fiesta Town. &2MP X IOI XIT
