Construction continues on the latest addition to the Armstrong Empire on Pacific Street. The official opening date has not been announced but insiders tell us that the renovation is moving at an incredible pace at what will be called the Santa Fe Trading Company. It is being hailed as a contemporary Southwest style club for men... the only one of its kind in Texas. Terry ( Maiy s), we hear that Tad and Fan- ny have something scheduled for every weekend this summer (out of town). Can you take it? This Sunday will be the monthly TGRA meeting at 2:00 p.m. held at Chutes (1732 Westheimer everyone is welcome to attend. Heaven, Houston's premiere video dance club will feature an appearance by Capitol Records' find, Hazell Dean, singing her hits, "They Say It's Gonna Rain" "No Fool (For Love);' "Who's Leaving Who" and more. Hazell Dean is the winner of many awards for her musical accomplishments and holds a Guiness Book World Record for sell ing more records than any other British female performer. Ms. Dean will appear in concert on Sunday evening, May 14,1989 at Heaven, located at 810 Pacific at Grant in the heart of the Montrose Arts District. The Miss gay Houston at Large Pageant will be held at Scandals next Sunday. Applications are being accepted at the bar. Ask Bo (Past Time) why he went to the dogs Wednesday.
