Title News clipping from the Houston Defender
Date July 15, 1933
Description Newspaper article that addresses the difficult financial situation of the Houston Negro Hospital and its possible closing. The article blames the Great Depression and the bad management of the institution for the present dilemma and indicates that financial support will be withdrawn if the hospital cannot keep at least ten patients a day. The Houston Defender accuses the administrators of the hospital of destroying goodwill and alienating people.
