Transcript CHIEF JUDGE: hon. ogle marbury. Laurel, mo. ASSOCIATE JUDGES: HON. WILLIAM M. LOKER. LEONARDTOWN. MD. HON. CHARLES C. MARBURY. UPPER MARLBORO. MD. HON. JOHN B. GRAY. JR.. PRINCE FREDERICK. MD. OFFICE OF BRICE BOWIE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY UPPER MARLBORO. MARYLAND November 24th, 1942 PHONE: MARLBORO 126 TERMS OF COURT: THIRD MONDAY IN JANUARY FIRST " •' APRIL THIRD •■ " JUNE FIRST *' " OCTOBER Mr. W. L. Fulton 5510 - 33rd St. N. W. Washington, D. C. Deer Sir: Reference is made to your letter of November 20, 1942 in which you inclose copies of the message of your son as transcribed by the FCC. I am returning herewith the copies and have marked in pencil on the carbon copy that part of th# message that I do not remember hearing. I have no doubt whatever that this was a part of the message as «*■ heard it. Due to my excitement at hearing from some one whose home was so close to mine I am sorry to say I do not remember this part* Inclosed is the portion of the newspaper on which I scratched the names and addresses, etc., you will notice particularly the name H. &• Webb, Oxford. N» 0t| as I have it written down and not Hotchkiss, also you will notice Kirkpaisrick, Ardmore, Pa., also Maker which is probably the name Mayor as in the copy of the message. I am not now certain whether or not Kirkpatrick mentioned by your son or whether he was also sending a message on his own behalf. The messages were in a conversational speed and on a record and was too fast for me to write down all that was said* I tried to get the name, address and the part about writing and being well as long as I could not get all that was said. That part of the scratching on the newspaper in circles had nothing to do with the message as I heard it, one was your phone number and the other is the name of a party, Clark, a friend of mine lost on the Lexington for whom I was listening. I would be glad to make an affidavit that the message you inclose was the one I heard and could get an affidavit for you from my wife and a guest who was in my home at the time, should you need same. Yours truly, tf3 c^4Mft- le, Md
