The following proposed amendments to the by-laws will be voted on at the November business meeting. Everyone is urged to participate. At the October business meeting, Mark Delaqualze proposed that the by-laws be amended to move the date of NOW officer elections from summer to a time when mare members are in town to participate. The present by-laws state In the first two sentences of section 12 that a nominating committee shall be appointed at the Kay business meeting and that the slate shall be presented at the July business meeting. Last year this timetable was used to give a month far consideration of the candidates) the slate was announced in June, voted on in July. The following four possibilities can be discussed and voted on at the November business meeting! 1. A nominating committee shall be appointed at the February business meeting. The committee shall report Its slate at the Karch busln33S meeting, and the election shall be held at the April business meeting. 2. A nominating committee shall be appointed at the Karch business meeting. It shall report its slate, and the election shall be held, at the April business meeting. 3.
