Transcript BROADSIDE HOUSTON AREA NOW BROADSIDE—Vol. 11, No. 11 NOVEMBER, 1980 ERA-HOUSTON WILL HOLD ERA SUPPORT RALLY SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 2 ERA-Houston, an alliance of ERA-supporting organizations, will hold "Family Day for ERA," two days before Election Day, at City Hall Reflection Pool Park, from 2-5 pm. Many speakers will give a variety of viewpoints on the importance of ERA ratification; there will also be entertainment and refreshments. Please bring your family and friends. ERA-Houston hopes to make this a very large testimonial to the continued support for the Equal Rights Amendment among Houstonians; hopefully, we will help convince the voters that voting for ERA-supporting candidates is the best way to send the message to our elected offi cials that we demand the ERA, I NOW!! ERA-Houston was formed after the July 9 demonstration in front of Republican Headquarters, after they dropped V I . ERA endorsement from their platform. / Two NOW members V and two YWCA members \got together to/form ERA-Houston, I which is currently offering ERA speakers, and which organized the Parade, Sept organized the ERA contingent for the Fiestas Patrias COALITION OF GREATER HOUSTON NOW CHAPTERS HERIZONS—Vol. 5, No. 11 NOVEMBER, 1980
