Transcript HELP US CELEBRATE In celebration of the ratification of the 19th Amendment on August 26, 1920, Houston Area N.O.W. and Women's Advocates, Inc., are sponsoring a cocktail party at 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 27th, at the home of Helen Cassidy, 4368 Graduate Circle. Proceeds from the fund-raiser will be used to finance the class action suit filed against the Houston Police Department on behalf of women applicants denied admission to the police academy. It's a great party for a great cause - and we need your help: Invitations - We are addressing and mailing 3500 invitations! Bring a pen and come to Helen cassidy's, 4368 Graduate Cir- cle, on August 8th and 9th at 8:00 P.M. We will finish the invitations after the business meeting at Helen's on August 10th. Snacks - The food committee will organize a telephone tree and call you to bring nuts, pretzels, etc, to the party. Bring something even if we miss you. (Continued next page)
