Transcript the friendly skies Do you grind, your teeth when you hear, "I'm Poopsie. Fly me." Does it make your stomach hurt to hear, 'We really move our tail for you."? Welcome to the feminist movement. NOW and other feminist groups have protested for years against the use of sex as a marketing device, to little avail. Let's face it folks, women's bodies sell stuff. Sit across the table from the Vice President in charge of advertising and try to explain to him that he's exploiting women. What's his reaction? Total disbelief. Incomprehension. Amused tolerance, never get the point. Those guys Well, National and Continental were bad enough but now we have been graced with wonderful billboards from Southwest Airlines which show some sort of creature that seems to be half woman and half airplane. Of course, it's the front half that's a woman and the back half (half-aft?) that': a plane. Which is only natural, considering the masculine preoccupation with our mammary development .
