Transcript JUNE ONGOING EVENTS Sunday The Women's Group meets every Sunday at 10 a.m. at the First Unitarian Church, 5210 Fannin at Southmore. Call 529-1886 for information. Adult Children of Alcoholic and Dysfunctional Families, a twelve step support group, meets Sundays at 1:00 p.m. at Dawn of Faith MCC, 10595 Telephone Road at Fuqua, Houston, Texas 77075, 991-6766. Although primarily attended by lesbians, the group's only requirement is to be a child of a dysfunctional family. Lesbian Incest Survivors Anonymous (LISA) meets every Sunday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Inklings upstairs, 1846 Richmond. For more information, call Sherry at 527-8712. Tuesday Mothers and Children Group, for HIV positive Mothers and Children meets every Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Multi-Service Center, 1475 West Gray, Suite 163. This is a non-smoking discussion group for the gay and lesbian community with issues related to codependency. Women's Hour - KTRU 91.7 FM, Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Although 'music' isn't part of the name anymore, women's music is still an integral part of the show. Alternate Wednesdays Women's Network is a support group, established to serve the lesbian and bisexual women's community of Houston; any woman who is sensitive to and comfortable with lesbians, is welcome. The network provides an opportunity to discuss women's issues in a safe environment, network with other women, and socialize with old and new friends. A donation of $3 to $5 per meeting is requested, but any woman is welcome regardless of her ability to pay. Thursday Support Group for Women Facing Life Challenging Health Concerns- This new group will provide support for women whose lives are being impacted by health issues. Enfoque de la Mujer is a segment of KPFT's Enfoque Latino Americano program which airs from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Enfoque de la Mujer brings news on Latin American and Caribbean women as well as feminist commentaries, interviews and literary analysis. Women's music with Pokey Anderson. Breakthrough starts after the BBC report, about 9:05. Pokey is approaching her 10th year anniversary producing this highly acclaimed weekly show. The community thanks Pokey for her commitment to women's music. Saturday Real Live Womyn - Coming out is a p-r-o-c-e-s-s. At whatever stage, you may face obstacles along the way.
