IN THE MAKING OF WHICH SHE HAS NO VOCE' -1849 Business/Program Meeting 7:30 p.m. — April 6, 1978 The Uniting Church El Camino Real & Reseda, CLC POLITICAL THEORY FOR EFFECTIVE FEMINIST ACTION How can NOW, as an organization, and we, as individuals, successfully make changes in society? How can we get feminist ideas over to such authorities as school boards, city councils, and other establishment groups? What resources do we have to accomplish this difficult task? What results can we expect for our efforts? Ellen Smith, a graduate student in Behavior Sciences at UH/CLC, has spent the past five years doing research on feminist political theory and will share her findings with us at the April 6 meeting. Ellen has worked as a Vista worker on solving race discrimination problems, in supplemental and enrichment areas in tutoring centers for children in Austin and Dallas, and is now a social worker for Child Welfare in Rosenberg, Texas. Business will be conducted from 7:30 to 8:30 and the program begins at 8:30 p.m. Contact the April presiding officer, Frances Hicks (488-8574) if you want your concerns added to the agenda.
