HAPPY DAY September 29, 1992 — The final draft of the partnership agreement for the DHCC Ltd.
was completed and sent to the State of Texas for certification. Thank you Debbie Hunt for all
your work on that legal document I Leanne and Jeanne Beauxbeannes are now the official General
Partners and six wonderful women have officially become Limited Partners! Other women who are
interested in becoming partners are encouraged to contact us scon because we are limited by
law to only 27 more members. Ask about our special bonus plan for investors!
UNFORTUNATELY The final terms on the original acreage and houses for Desert Hearts Cowgirl
Club could not be negotiated to our satisfaction. We want to thank Suzanne Anderson for her
efforts here. We do have a contingency plan and it is now in effect.
HAPPILY We have been doing some heavy shopping in the same beautiful area and several
sites are being considered. The announcement of our selection should be forthcoming in our
next update. Our philosophy has always been that things do work out for the best, and so we
have a feeling that our next choice will be even better than the last one. Rest assured that
Desert Hearts Cowgirl Club will find her home under the same starry skies, nestled among the
peaks and valleys of the Texas Hill Country northwest of San Antonio.
A BARGAIN The Original Cowgirl membership offer is still good until December 31, 1992. That
pre-paid vacation plan offers a total of 15 days' vacation for $1000. Thank you to those who
have already sent in their checks. For those who don't know, each day includes lodging, three
meals, horseback riding and lots of cowgirl fun as well as a $30 gift certificate at the
trading post and lots of free camping. A cowgirl may share her days with her girlfriends or
she may divide the days over many small vacations over the next two or more years. Send for
details if you don't have them because our %66/day per woman offer will soon be over. Our
regular rates will begin at $76 per woman which is still a real bargain vacation! We're all
going to have so much fun!
MARKETING We are still targeting April 1, 1993 as our opening date. We want to thank The Wand
and the LOAF Newsletter who have been running articles about us. We are also advertising in
the Lib Newsletter. We get letters from all over Texas because of a little ad in Dimensions.
We have flyers statewide in bookstores and women's bars. We are advertising in the LC, which
is nationwide, as well as the next yearly issues of Women Traveller. Places of Interest to
Women and Inn Places, under the "Women Only" section. We feel like our little dudette ranch
is going to be very popular for women from all over the world and all walks of life. Don't
Thanks also goes to Kathy Hubbard for her ongoing accounting services. We're all working hard
to make our dream become a reality and we still need every woman's help. Write to us, call
us, or just wish us luck. Until we meet again.
CLALIJNG ALL SOPRANOS!
HeartSong needs sopranos, pronto!
After our exhaustive efforts to host last year's
National Women's Choral Festival, many of our
singers retired. Gaping holes were left in both
our first and second soprano sections. We've
gotten by for several months but we are still
noticeably alto heavy.
If you are a soprano and can read music
or learn quickly, we need your voice for our
upcoming holiday concert. For more information,
call Lynne Weynand at 667-6038 or Valerie
Stinson at 667-1336. Don't be shy.
We would love to hear from you.
