Transcript TEXAS WOMEN'S POLITICAL CAUCUS Newsletter Volume 3, Number 9 June, 1975 Editor: Angie Flores Staff: Kim McCormick 4 [\ [\ 4 LEGISLATIVE WRAP-UP The Legislative session is over and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our locals for all of your hard work during the session, especially for not minding my telephone calls late at night. I personally feel that TWPC did very well in its first professional lobby effort. It has been an extremely rewarding and beneficial learning experience for all of us who followed and worked with our legislators closely. I want to especially thank Gretchen Raatz, TWPC Lobbyist, for her dedication and untiring efforts in pursuing the interests of the Caucus. The following is the last legislative report filed by Gretchen: RATE REFORM LEGISLATION was passed and signed by the Governor on May 15, 1975. Effective date of this new law is August 15, 1975. Copies of the bill (H.B. 284, as amended) have been furnished to each legislative chair
