Displaced homemakers are career homemakers who are left without support by divorce or widowhood. Battered women are the victims of violence in the home, physical abuse inflicted by the men with whom they live. Evidence of the existence of these problems is abundant, but documentation on the plight of these victims is scarce. In an attempt to find solutions to these problems, Breakthrough is asking its readers to respond to these questionnaires or to pass them on to anyone who might be a victim. The questionnaire on the left, designed by Cynthia Mondell and Charlotte Stewart, should be sent to: Women in Communications 5215 Homer Dallas, Texas 75206 The questionnaire on the right is a project of Kathryn Duffie, a student at the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Houston. It should be mailed to: Kathryn Duffie 4603 Shetland Houston, Texas 77027 Please feel free to make any additional comments you think would help other women. iritu 1214 M1RAMAR AT GRAUSTARK. HOUSTON.
