One estimate holds that the medical system affects about 10 per cent of the usual indices for measuring health. The regaining 90 per cent are determined by factors over which doctors have little or no control. The concept of holistic health will be explained, and relaxation techniques will be demonstrated, at the Thursday A^ril 5th meeting of the Bay Area Chapter of the fvational Organization for Women. Elizabeth Perry, Instructor/Coordinator of Continuing Education, Division of Health Occupations, College of the Mainland, will be the guest speaker, representing the Holistic Health Association. The Holistic Healtn Association unites Professionals, pararrofessionals, and lay people who consider one's health to be a croduct of the interrelationships between body, mind, and spirit.
