Transcript October 5: "What Makes Susie Run?" (or Kathy, or herylyn, or Bette) will be the question examined at the monthly program meeting by Kathy Whitmlre, candidate for City Controller; nerylyn Whlted, candidate for City Council; and Bette Graham White, candidate for Mayor. Each of them will present a statement on her background, reasons for running for office, and on what she sees as pertinent Issues. Question and answer period will follow. Clayton Library, 5300 Caroline, 7:30 P.M. October 12: The Business of the month will be discussed at the home of Linda Bain and Ellen Sltton, 5035 Kingfisher, 729-6883, beginning at 8:00 P.M. I.W.Y. Conference Volunteers to help with registration, information booth, vote counting, microphone monitoring, etc. are needed. Those who work will be on the floor, with a close-up view of the proceedings. Call 226-5108 to sign up. A highlight of the conference will be the appearance of Alan Alda at the ERA America fundraiser/reception November 18 at the Hyatt Regency.
