Transcript Though music is the most universal means of communication, we needn't be limited to concerts. A lesbian counterculture would have to embrace all forms of expression. The possibilities seem staggering. Sincerelv; Phyl Dear Pointblank Times, Thank you for bringing Meg Christian to the women of Houston and, by doing so, bringing such a large group of us together for a fantastic evening. So many of us in one place at one time proclaiming ourselves, joying in the fullness of our lives- it was like a dream! I can't imagine that any of us who attended the concert will ever be quite the same again. I hope that this was only a beginning and that there will be many more times when we will come together and grow collectively closer and stronger. For this and all that you have done since the inception of Pointblank Times, thank you again. In Sisterhood, Milly h&v&tvi&f The problem is with my girlfriend. We've been good friends since we were in high school. She got married about a year ago, he seemed like a really nice man. Then they started to have some problems. Things went from bad to worse and she left him. She didn't have any place to go, so when they separated she moved in with me. The apartment only has one bedroom with a double bed, so we sleep together. Because she was so emotional I tried to comfort her and be affectionate and some nights we would masturlata together. But she seemed to want more and more. At night she would hug me and kiss me before we went to sleep. Well, one thing led to another and pretty soon she was massaging my breasts and stimulating me sexually. Mow, she has become sexually aggressive with me and wants me to do the same with her. I'm very uncomfortable about it. She says it is perfectly all right because she loves me. I don't want to hurt her, but I don't love her that way. It is all right if we just masturbate each other, but I don't want the other stuff. Do you think something is wrong with me? Do you think I am being selfish with her? I really like her and I don't v/ant to lose her friendship. What can I do? Monica Dear Monica, Affection and sexuality are often confused and confusing. It's sometimes difficult for two people to draw the same line betv/een them. If her feelings are sexual, it's not fair to lead her sexually and then stop. If your feelings are more of friendship, be fair and honest with yourself and her. I believe the only thing wrong with you (continued on page u)
