Transcript 19 7 8 The year of 1978 is almost over. It has been a momentous time for the cause of women's rights with the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment extension bill and the march on Washington that drew 100,000 women and men from all over the country in support of that effort. At the same time, however, the opponents of equal rights for all Americans have not been idle. We must not rest on our laurels. In fact, we must redouble our efforts, get more involved. One way that you can do this is to come join us at Houston Area N.O.W. We have just elected new officers and are in the planning stages for the new year. Your ideas and input are the ingredients necessary for success. All of us together can change our world for the better. See you at the Clayton Library next Wednesdayl 19 7 9
