Transcript 1991-92 r MR R flll-Rmerican Collegiate Shotgun Team ShhiI lifimriii An exciting part of this year's college shotgun season will be the announcement of the NRA Ail-American Collegiate Shotgun Team. This All-American title will recognize those team members as the top group of collegiate shooters in the shotgun events for the 1990-91 season. There will be one team named. To be selected for the team, nominees must meet the selection criteria for their desired discipline, trap and/or skeet. Golden Clay Target lapel pins, brassard and a certificate of achievement will be awarded to each team member. A special display plaque goes to the college or university of each All-American. Eligibility To be eligible for consideration a shooter must be: a) enrolled in at least a minimum full-time undergraduate program of studies and be making satisfactory progress towards a baccalaureate or equivalent degree, as defined by his or her institution; or b) in the final semester, quarter or equivalent course load, provided the institution certifies the student is taking for credit the course necessary to complete the degree requirements as determined by the faculty; or c) enrolled in a graduate or professional school of the institution he or she attended as an undergraduate and is making satisfactory progress in an advanced degree program; or d) enrolled and seeking a second baccalaureate degree or equivalent degree atthe same institution and making satisfactory progress in the present programs as defined by the institution, provided that in either case such enrollment occurs within five years of the students initial collegiate matriculation. The nominees may be students at their own institutions or at other schools. It is the responsibility of the official making the nomination to report, on the form supplied by the NRA, all match scores fired. Selection of the All-American Shotgun Team will be based on scores fired starting with the 1989 ACU-I Championships. Only students who are already enrolled in the 1989-90 academic year from September to May will be able to include the previous summer months of June, July and August as their academic year. Current NRA International Shotgun Rules will regulate international matches. The AmateurTrapshooting and the National Skeet Shooting Association Rules will govern American Shotgun matches. The 1991 NRA All-American Shotgun Team will be announced at the ACU-I Championships in Peoria, Illinois on April 20 atthe NRA Awards Ceremony. Selection will not be revealed beforehand.
