MIGDALSKI MOST IMPROVED TEAM AWARD Given to the most improved team in both American Trap and American Skeet. ATA TRAP 1.TEAM 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place schools with 5 medals each. 1st Place JUNIOR COLLEGE School with five (5) medals. 2. INDIVIDUAL Champion, 2nd and 3rd Place 3. LADIES SPECIAL CATEGORY Lady Champion, Lady Runner-up 4. CLASS 1st and 2nd Place in class (AA, A, B, C, D, E). 5. AMATEUR TRAPSHOOTING ASSOCIATION will invite the ATA Trap Champion to the Grand American Trapshoot, with free entry fee and shells in the North American Clay Target event. Also, if a non-member, membership will be provided by ATA. In addition, ACU-I will provide round-trip transportation and one night's lodging to the ATA Trap Champion. AMERICAN SKEET 1.TEAM 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place School, with five (5) medals each. 1st Place JUNIOR COLLEGE School, with five (5) medals. 2. INDIVIDUAL Champion, 2nd and 3rd Place. 3. LADIES SPECIAL CATEGORY Lady Champion, Lady Runner-up 4. CLASS 1st and 2nd Place in class (AA, A, B, C, D, E). 5. NATIONAL SKEET SHOOTING ASSOCIATION will invite the American Skeet Champion to the Junior World Skeet Shoot with free entry fee and shells in the 12 gauge event Also, if non-member, membership will be provided by NSSA. In addition, ACU-I will provide round-trip transportation and one night's lodging to the American Skeet Champion. SPORTING CLAYS 1.TEAM 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place School, with five (5) medals each. 1st Place JUNIOR COLLEGE School, with five (5) medals each. 2. INDIVIDUAL Champion, 2nd and 3rd Place. 3. LADIES SPECIAL CATEGORY Lady Champion, Lady Runner-Up 4. CLASS 1 st and 2nd Place in class (AA, A, B, C, D, E) Awards Furnished by the National Rifle Association INTERNATIONAL SKEET and INTERNATIONAL TRAP 1. INDIVIDUAL Champion - Gold Medallion, with one-year NRA membership and subscription to Shooting Sports USA. Second - Silver Medallion with one-year NRA membership and subscription to Shooting Sports USA. Third- Bronze Medallion with one-year NRA membership and subscription to Shooting Sports USA. One (1) additional award (Bronze Medallion) will be presented for every ten (10) competitors, or major fraction thereof, over 30. 2. LADIES SPECIAL CATEGORY Lady Champion - Gold Medallion, with one-year NRA membership and subscription to Shooting Sports USA. Second high scoring female competitor will receive a silver medallion if 8 or more female competitors enter. A bronze medallion will be awarded if 15 or more female competitors enter. 3. TEAM 1st Place Team - Team plaque with (3) individual awards. 2nd Place Team - Team plaque with three (3) individual awards. One (1) additional set of awards will be presented for every five (5) teams, or major fraction thereof, over 10. 4. The International Trap champion and International Skeet champion will receive an invitation to an event to be announced. Winchester Scholarship Awards** Winchester will present $1000 scholarship in each of the following events: 1. Winchester Trap Events Scholarship Individual with best combined score in International Trap and ATA Trap. 2. Winchester Skeet Events Scholarship Individual with best combined score in International Skeet and American Skeet. "Winchester Scholarships Winchester is proud to support the ACU-I Intercollegiate Trap and Skeet Championships. To illustrate its commitment to the collegiate shoot and youth shooting programs, Winchester is pleased to donate two (2) scholarships, each valued at one thousand dollars. Scholarship Requirements: 1. Each winner shall meet eligibility requirements as specified in this tournament program. 2. Each scholarship shall be presented to the respective winner's school scholarship and development fund. 3. The college or university receiving the Winchester Scholarships shall appoint a scholarship committee whose purpose is to select the recipient(s) to be awarded the scholarship monies following the prescribed guidelines. The committee shall include the following members: a. Director of the College Union (or equivalent administrator); b. Coach/Advisor of the Trap and Skeet Club; c. Vice-President or Dean of the Department/Division under which the Trap and Skeet program resides; d. Captain of the Trap and Skeet Club. 4. Guidelines for Allocation of Scholarship Monies. a. The Winchester Scholarship Award is to be used specifically for academic financial assistance for students involved in the College or University Trap and Skeet program. b. The student earning the Winchester Scholarship Award for his/her school shall be given first priority to receive the scholarship. c. The scholarship committee may allocate funds to other Trap and Skeet Club members, or to an incoming freshman, d. Funds may not be applied retroactive towards Spring 1991 academic fees (if graduating senior) and, or towards graduate school (Master's Program) Fall 1991. 5. Non-Acceptance Policy In the event the college or university does not have a Trap and Skeet program (officially recognized student organization, college union activity or sports club), or for some other reason is unable to accept the Winchester Scholarship, it shall be returned to the ACU-I Recreation Committee, who then shall contact the second place winner. DOOR PRIZE DRAWING Following the awards ceremony on Sunday April 26,1992, door prizes donated by the sponsors and manufacturers will be given away. Only registered shooters NOT earning an award during the Championships will be eligible for the drawing. Competitor number (assigned at registration) will be drawn - luck of the draw - and shooter must be present to win. ACU-I Claq Target Championships 10
