Transcript Championship Rules and Regulations coaH 15. 16. 17. 2. ATA Trap Team. A tie for 1 st, 2nd or 3rd place will be decided by a shoot-off in rounds of 25 targets. 3. Winchester Trap Events Scholarship Award (best combined score for International Trap and ATA Trap). A tie will be resolved with a 50- target shoot-off, firing at 25 rounds each event in tournament schedule order, until a winner is declared. 4. All ties for other ATA Trap events and all classes shall be decided on the basis of the longest run in the event, forward beginning with the first target shot at or backward beginning with the last target shot at (whichever is longest). If long runs are tied, the long run from the opposite end shall be used to break the tie. If long runs are still tied, revert to GENERAL REGULATIONS #14b-1. c. American Skeet 1. a. American Skeet Individual A tie for Champion, 2nd place, 3rd place, Lady Champion and Lady runner-up will be shot-off employing doubles at all stations. Shooting proceeds from station 1 through 7, then backwards from 6 through 2. b. Use the total score of a complete round of doubles. If more than two (2) rounds of doubles are needed, go to station 3,4 and 5. c. If still tied after completion of a complete round of doubles, competitors will shoot a "miss-and-out" round, by station, from stations 3,4, and 5, using the long run from the front to determine the winner. Ties shall continue to shoot successive rounds until the ties are broken. 2. American Skeet Team. A tie for 1 st place, 2nd place or 3rd place will be shot-off by "miss and out" (sudden death). Team winners shall be determined by the full team shooting until the first miss and comparing this long run with other squads (teams) involved. Squads continue to shoot their rounds until the tie is broken. 3. Winchester Skeet Events Scholarship Awards, (best combined score for International Skeet and American Skeet). A tie will be resolved with a 50-target shoot-off, firing at 25 targets each event in tournament schedule order, until a winner is declared. 4. All ties for other American Skeet events and all classes shall be decided on the basis of the longest run in the event, forward beginning with the first target shot at or backward beginning with the last target shot at (whichever is longest). If long runs are tied, the long run from the opposite end shall be used to break the tie. If long runs are still tied, revert to GENERAL REGULATIONS #14c-1 d. Sporting Clays 1. A tie for individual champion will be broken by 10-target shoot-offs until a winner is declared. Shoot-offs will be held on a field to be announced. 2. All other ties will be broken by long run by the method described in 14c-4 above. e. High Over All 1. A tie for Team HOA Champion will be decided using the combined long run score of team members in the last round of 25, next to last round etc., until the tie is broken. 2. A tie for Individual HOA Champion and/or Lady HOA Champion will be resolved with a 100-target shoot-off, firing at 25 targets each event in tournament schedule order, until a winner is decided. All other HOA ties will be decided by long run last events fired, front and back, (whichever is longest), next to last event, etc., until the tie is broken. Sporting Clays scores will not be used to determine HOA Award winners or break ties in HOA. Shooters are responsible for verifying scores upon completion of each round of 25 targets. Once shooting starts for the next round, or in the case of the last round where shooter walks off the field, all scores become final. No changes will be permitted. Corrections in addition will be allowed. Tournament management shall provide Winchester ammunition in any shoot-off situation. Classification Procedure for ATA Trap a. Classification is based on targets fired in this event only. b. ATA Trap is a 16 yard, 200 target event. The first 100 targets will be used to assign classification for class awards (see item "c" below). To compute handicap average, drop the high and low rounds and double the remaining two rounds. c. For handicap and award purposes the championships will deviate from the ATA system by adding a "Class E." This system is used specifically for the ACU-I Championships. CLASS AVERAGE AA - 97% and over A-94% to 96.99% B-91% to 93.99% C-88% to 90.99% D-82% to 87.99% E- under 81.99% d. No classification will be used for computing team scores. Standings will be based on actual scores fired. Team members may shoot on the same squad. 19. Classification Procedure for American Skeet a. Classification is based on the targets fired in this event only. b. American Skeet is a 100 target event Handicapped average to determine class awards will be computed by dropping the high and low rounds and doubling the remaining two rounds. c. No classification will be used for computing team scores. The standings will be based on actual score fired. Team members may shoot on the same squad. d. Handicapped averages for class awards. CLASS AVERAGE AA-97.5% and over A - 96.0% to 97.49% B-93.5% to 95.99% C - 90.0% to 93.49% D-85.5% to 89.99% E- under 85.5% 20. No classification will be used for the international events. The actual scores fired will be used to determine individual and team winners in International Skeet and International Trap. 21. Classification Procedure for Sporting Clays a. Classification is based on the targets fired in this event only. b. Sporting Clays is a 100 target event. Handicapped average to determine class awards will be computed by dropping the high and low rounds and doubling the remaining two rounds. c. No classification will be used for computing team scores. The standings will be based on actual score fired. Team members may shoot individual stations in the same order. d. For handicap and award purposes, the Championships will deviate from the ATA system by adding a "Class E." This system is used specifically for the ACU-I Championships. CLASS AVERAGE AA - 78% and over A-70%-77.99% B - 60% - 69.99% C - 50% - 59.99% D - 40% - 49.99% E - under 40% 22. Ported barrels are permitted in International Trap. 23. When Olympic-style fields (15 machine bunker) are not available for International Trap competition, this event will be fired over single "wobble" trap fields. HCU-I Claq Target Championships
