Transcript GEO. L. MESKER & CO., ARCHITECTURAL IRON WORKS, EVANSVILLE, IND. 27 WOODWORK AND GLASS. We have a factory completely fitted out for making woodwork for storefronts, and we desire to figure on furnishing woodwork and glass to all who write us in regard to fronts. We make the doors, transoms, show windows and sash out of the best quality of soft Northern white pine. Where we furnish the cast-iron and galvanized-iron work as well as the woodwork and gla^s for a front, accuracy and correct construction throughout are guaranteed. We usually furnish fine A double strength glass throughout, but will also estimate on plate glass for show windows when desired. When we figure on woodwork we desire to know whether a straight or recessed front is wanted. Give us particulars and let us quote you on woodwork and glass. Our estimates do not include hardware, sash weights or cord, inside casings, wood backing or wood lintel. Design No. 1342. One-story galvanized-steel front, with cast-iron columns and sill course. Price of cast-iron and galvanized-steel front SO ft. wide, $221.90; 35 ft., $240.65; 40 ft., $259.40; 45 ft., $278.15. Woodwork and glass, extra. Price quoted on application. OLD BUILDINGS. If you have an old building that does not appear well, it will pay you to remodel it and put in one of our fine modern fronts. A handsome building draws trade, and is always considered a substantial evidence of prosperity, and it certainly is a source of gratification to its owner. Persons who have not looked into the matter will be surprised to learn how easily and cheaply our handsome iron fronts can be put into the first story of a building without taking down the second story wall. Our cornices and window caps can be made to go on old walls, and thus the old front can be made new with very little work. We will take pleasure in giving full particulars on application. Design No. 1343. One-story galvanized-steel rock-face front, with cast-iron columns and sill course. Price of cast-iron and sralvanized- steel front, 32 ft. wide, $199.40; 37 ft., $213.45; 42 ft, $227.50; 47 ft., $231.60. Woodwork and glass, extra. Price quoted on application. WRITE FOR DISCOUNTS.
