Date 1916
Description These store fronts were made of copper (does not rot, warp, or rust). They claim to have made and installed over 50,000 of them. The catalogue illustrates 47 examples in small but clear halftones, two detail illustrations of sash and 8 full-page measured drawings of various types of storefronts. These drawings are elevations of the fronts but with receding shop windows and entryways in perspective and are very appealing and valuable for restoration purposes as well as fine record of an aspect of American commercial culture which is rapidly disappearing. Their main factory was in Niles, Michigan with others in Berkeley, Ca and Guelph, Ontario. There were sales offices in all the major American cities as well as an office in Montreal.
