In response to your advertise/neat of April 1882, Trie Centra.1 Texas Mining, Manufacturing & Land. Company submits the following proposition for paving, in accordance with, toe specifications, on tout portion of Main street beginning at trie north line of its intersection with Co'aimer ce street and extending to the north line of Congress strs<£t- For each square yard of paving, including an excavation of one foot in depth, $2.65 per square or superficial yard, for each running foot of curbing stone, .33 cents. For ail grading or excavating over one foot in •depth, §0 cents per cuoic yard. As there is no profit in the work to trie Contractor in true above proposal, and there map be actual loss, funds must be advanced fron*. time to ti'ma, in such awma as may i be necessary to pay for trie material delivered at Houston and the work done* Youra Very Respectfully, - For trie Central Texas Mi,ainyt Manufacturing & Land Company.
