| Description | Entrance road into the Westmoreland residential area, Houston, TX. Ornamental stone pillars and a wrought-iron fence delineate the boundary of the development. Westmoreland was the first of Houston's new planned residential areas organized in 1902. The acreage was south of the city at the time but was annexed by Houston in 1903. |
