| Title | Memorandum to J. Y. Powell from F. O. J. |
| Creator | Johnson, Frances O.
|
| Description | A memorandum to J. Y. Powell in which his secretary, Frances O. Johnson, informs him of a telephone conversation she had with Dr. J. W. Slaughter's secretary. Miss Kennedy, Dr. Slaughter's secretary, was told that although Judge W. H. Ward seems sympathetic towards the cause, the Advisory Committee had to obtain the approval of Dr. Page, the County Health Officer, in order to go ahead with the plan. Miss Kennedy replied that she understood Dr. Page had already been persuaded, but that she would have Dr. J. W. Slaughter confirm that information. |
