Memorandum to W. W. Moore from J. W. Slaughter
TitleMemorandum to W. W. Moore from J. W. Slaughter
CreatorSlaughter, J. W.
DescriptionCopy of a memorandum to W. W. Moore from J. W. Slaughter concerning a proposal to take care of the negro patients of Jefferson Davis Hospital as they are in the process of re-organizing and expanding. Dr. J. W. Slaughter says that building another hospital would be forced upon the city but will take longer than 3 years to complete, so anything proposed now would be a temporary arrangement. He confirms that the Houston Negro Hospital has enough space to accommodate the negro patients of Jefferson Davis Hospital.
