| Description | BINDING: early 20th century binding. Dark brown leather over pasteboards. Full gilt with internal tools. The pattern is basically geometric, filled with tooled floral elements. Full gilt spine, with corner and center tools. On the second compartment of the spine is gilt: "Horae Diurnae". Pastedowns in Dutch marble. Bound by J. Bold & Sons, Bristol, England (as by indication on the bottom margin of the top flyleaf). Gilt edges with diapered pattern. |
