TranscriptCedar Bayou Harris county Texas October 18th --- 1875 Mrs. Anson Jones, I under Stand you Have offerd to Sell your land on the Bay. on goose creek in 40 acres dolls now if you will Rent me the place for an other year, that is for 1876. I will fix it up and do what you Require of me, and and if it is worth Any more Rent then fixing it up I am willing to pay it with the calculation of Bying it at the end of next yer. now I will take 40 acres and give you 10 dollars per acre, for 40 acres including the HomeSted., and will pay your Half the money down. _ _ _ I rather /// Rent the place next yer, and /// Buy, the Place at the end of next year will you Please let me Heare fro you forth with as I have Soled my place on cedar Bayou and will move up the country Soon if we don't make a traid Please in Hast.
