Transcript[Letter from Sallie Ashe to Cromwell Jones] Willis Nov 16th 1875 Dear Crom While Husband was at home this week he was feeling so badly having been quite sick that he was unable to write so when he left this morning commissioned me to write to you asking you to write him at Grand Lake informing him when the court meets in Galveston that he has to attend and also for you to ask Sam if it could not be arrang -ed so that his lawyer could answer all questions (so it was necessary for hime to be at his gin at this par- -ticular time being the busiest season) so that his personal attendance would not be required All well - with love Your Sister Sallie S Ashe
