| Transcript | Tuesday the 16th [Decr]./79 My Dear Son I dispatched you a few lines yesterday - inclosing a list of my "tunage" which Sam put aboard of the freight train this morning taking a receipt for the same. The Poultry four chickins & Two Turkeys were he had to pay freight on here. Should they reach you saf- ly, have them fed & watered & put in some safe place. I was completely broken down yesterday and will not be down in the morning as I mentioned yesterday But for Sams assistance I never could have succeeded in getting my things off. I hope to hear by this evenings mail that the house is empty Affectionately Mary Jones We may be down Thursday |
